Didn't fix the problem.
I have no problems so far after disabling this feature.
However, crippling the performance of my netbook in order to stop the freezing does not seem a proper solution to me...
Didn't fix the problem
Change RAM module from DDR2-667 (333Mhz) to DDR2-533 (266Mhz)
Avoid DDR2-800 (400 MHz), since it causes freezing - try DDR2-553 (266 MHz)
Change RAM from 1GB PC2-6400 DDR2 SODIMM to 1GB PC2-5700 DDR2 SODIMM
Unfortunately I don't have the chance to try another SODIMM RAM module and they are still really expensive to buy just to try... €22 for 1GB, €40 for 2GB.
Change RAM module to CORSAIR SO-DIMM 2GB DDR2 667MHz (VS2GSD667D2)
SAMSUNG 1GB 2Rx16 PC2-5300S-555-12-A3 seemed to freeze the netbook.
Change the RAM module from Nanya 1GB 2Rx16.PC2-5300S-555-13-A2-667 to Transcend 1GB DDR2 800 SODIMM CL6 and upgrade BIOS to 3212
Transcend 2GB DDR2-667 SoDimm Bulk (PC2 5400, JM667QSU-2G) seems to be compatible with Acer 751h
IRQ8 top priorityIRQ16 is second and IRQ17 is third.Howto : Create DWord value (named ‘IRQ#Priority) in ‘HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\PriorityControl’‘#’ is IRQA number. Ex) IRQ8Priority
Working mobo revision: HLZ-ZA3(B)
If you are lucky, you may have your mobo replaced by a newer one, with Z530 processor @ 1,6GHz!!
Try to change the following settings:
Under Options in Graphics - Enable Performance Mode is tickedUnder Power Settings - tick the Intel Display power Saving Technology, and drag the pointer to maximum quality
In case your 751h happened to freeze during a BIOS update, it is very likely that you end up with a bricked netbook.
User lightt, from AcerAspireOne forum, suggests a solution for recovering from this situation:

Try using Realtek Audio Driver 188.8.131.5254 and Bios 3212. It seems to work in certain cases.
